Salary: Up to £96,000 + On Call (plus benefits and paid enhancements)
Contract: Full time hours - 37.5

Are you an experienced Lead Consultant specialised in Palliative Medicine looking for the next step in your career or a new working environment? If so, MediTalent have just the role for you! We are recruiting for our client a bespoke private hospital in North London, who are looking for a confident Consultant to join their Palliative Medicine Day Care Unit and Outpatients service within their hospice.

This role will involve you having clinical responsibility for patients in these departments of the hospice and to be able to provide cover for the consultant who manages the Community Specialist Palliative Care Team + Hospital IPU. You will be supervising, supporting, guiding and managing the medical team at the hospice therefore you must be able to work on call when required. You may be required to run palliative care reviews of patients in the hospice to ensure the best standard of care is always maintained.

The right candidate:

  • Qualified Medical Practitioner
  • Full GMC registration
  • Entry on GMC specialist register for Palliative Medicine or CCT or has a CESR
  • Membership of relevant Royal College or equivalent
  • Palliative Medicine experience/ Management experience - highly desirable
  • Postgraduate higher qualification (PhD, Masters etc) - desirable
