Position: Lead Endoscopy Nurse
Location: North London
Pay: up to £45,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours - Full time and Part time is available - Flexible working pattern

MediTalent are seeking a Lead Endoscopy Nurse to work for our client - a leading healthcare provider in their State-of-the-Art Private Hospital based in North London. They are looking for a nurse who is highly experienced in endoscopy care, who is confident in their skills enough to guide and lead a team. This modern private hospital offers specialised services across urology, knee surgery, hernia care, spinal care and pallative care - to name a few.
You will be joining a well-established team, with brilliant support available. Your team will include junior members of staff that may require personal mentoring to ensure the best care is always provided. You will act as a point of call and must be confident in your communication skills from patients and their family to different levels of staff. The company offer opportunities for training and continuous progression - often leading to promotions.
The right candidate:
- Valid NMC or HCPC pin
- Previous experience as a Senior Registered Practitioner or equivalent in an endoscopy service
- Experience and training in pain management, care of the deteriorating patient, care of patient under conscious sedation requiring monitored recovery
- Experience of clinical governance and audit
- Evidence of working in partnership with consultants to explore and challenge existing practices while maintaining and enhancing services and standards
