Position: Lead Scrub Practitioner
Location: London
Pay: Up to £55,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours: Full time/part time hours available
Contract: Permanent
MediTalent are seeking a Lead Scrub Practitioner to work for our client - one of the UK's largest group of independent private healthcare providers based in Central London. This hospital offers services including hip and knee replacements, ENT, endoscopy, urological procedures and other minor operations - ensuring a revolving caseload.
Your role may involve: Coordinating and leading the scrub team during surgical procedures, ensuring proper instrument and supply preparation. Collaborating with surgical staff, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. You will oversee the maintenance of sterile techniques and adherence to infection control protocols. You will assist in surgical setup, including arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for procedures.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid NMC/HCPC pin number as well as already having experience in leadership and scrub. Your skills will help you grow in an extremely supportive and nurturing environment, where value and respect of staff are of utmost importance.
Skills required:
- Must have NMC/HCPC Pin Number
- Relevant Leadership experience
- Relevant experience in scrub
