Position: Occupational Health Technician
*Based in a mobile unit that travels to various locations *
Location: East Midlands - UK wide
Pay: up to £26,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours - Full time and Part time available - Flexible working pattern
Contract - Permanent
MediTalent are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to work for our client - a leading provider of workplace health services based in/ around the East Midlands. You will be working alongside a dedicated and multidisciplinary occupational health team to ensure the utmost care for our patients. You will be based in a mobile medical unit that you will drive to various work sites or to client homes. You may have to do overnight stays and travel throughout the UK.
Your role will involve undertaking health screening which may include general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis, drug/alcohol testing/fitness for work medicals, audiometry and lung function testing, delivering health promotion activities and ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded and equipment is clean and fit for purpose.
*YOU MUST HAVE A VALID AND FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE FOR THIS ROLE*
The right candidate must have:
- Degree level educated - preferably in Sports/Science disciplines
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Technician
- Valid and full UK driving license
- Be able to do overnight stays and travel to various locations
- IT proficient
- Be able to prioritise own workload
- Excellent time management skills
