Position: Scrub Nurse - Ophthalmics
Location: Worcester
Pay: Up to £40,000 - plus paid enhancements & benefits
Hours - Full time and Part time is available - Flexible working pattern.
Contract - Permanent
MediTalent are currently recruiting for Scrub Nurse to work for our client at an Eye Care Private Hospital based in Worcester- taking a focus on ophthalmic surgery care. They are seeking experienced theatre nurses to join their team, any disciplines of theatre are welcome to apply (including ODPs) however it is highly beneficial for you to be experienced in ophthalmics/scrub nursing. You should also be looking to gain experience with other techniques and engage with learning on the role.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional surgical assistance and maintaining a sterile environment during ophthalmic surgeries. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room and surgical instruments for ophthalmic procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilised. You will be assisting the ophthalmic surgeon by passing instruments and supplies during surgery, anticipating their needs and ensuring efficient workflow.

- Valid NMC/HCPC Pin
- Qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri Operative care

- Experience within Ophthalmic care desired
