MediTalent are recruiting for Specialist Children's Nurses with Oncology or Haematology experience to join our client, one of the world's most reputable children's hospital.
Roles available at both Band 5 and Band 6 level. Salary dependent on banding and experience.
As a Specialist Nurse, you will be tending to the need of children over a range of ages, paying special attention to and nurturing the needs of the patient's family. You will be primarily be working with international private patients who have travelled for the specialist treatment offered at this hospital.
In addition, you will responsible for mentoring and coaching junior staff members so any leadership, coaching or mentoring experience will be beneficial in this role.
Children are treated here from all over the world for expert medical treatment and care.
You will be caring for children and working alongside your colleague and specialist consultants to ensure their care plan is assessed and implemented. You may be required to carry out care analysis and audits to do so. You will be safeguarding for your patients and must escalate any issues to managerial staff. You will be addressing the family/carers of your patients and must be comfortable discussing all situations. You will be working amongst a dedicated team to ensure the best patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold:
- A valid NMC pin number.
- Previous clinical experience working with children is essential.
- Previous experience working within oncology and / or haematology
