Position: Endoscopy Nurse
Location: St Johns Wood
Pay: up to £47,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours - Full time and Part time is available - Flexible working pattern
Contract - Permanent
MediTalent are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Nurse to join our dynamic team at a bespoke private hospital based in St Johns Wood. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services and work in a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit.
Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for endoscopic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. You will assist in the setup and maintenance of endoscopy equipment, ensuring all instruments are sterile and in proper working condition. Your role will collaborate with gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care during procedures. You will monitor patients' vital signs and responses to sedation or anaesthesia during the endoscopy procedure. Furthermore, you may administer medications and IV fluids as required, following established protocols and medication safety guidelines.
Skills required:
- Must have NMC Pin
- Previous experience as a staff nurse in an endoscopy service
- Experience and training in pain management and care of the deteriorating patient
- Interpersonal and strong communication skills
