Position: Theatre nurse/ practitioner - Anaesthetic & Recovery
Location: Cheshire
Salary: Up to £42,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Contract: Permanent - Full time - 37.5 hours
Are you a highly motivated and experienced Scrub OPD or Nurse looking for your next exciting opportunity? MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare provider for an experienced theatre practitioner to join their highly specialised clinic based in Manchester.
You'll be working as part of a dedicated and supportive team; you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures. You should be experienced in anaesthetics/recovery procedures.
The right candidate:
- HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic module.
- Ideally hold ALS or ILS however training & courses can be offered.
- Excellent communication and organisation to ensure high standards of patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, making sure waste is kept to a minimum
- Ensure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way
- Run a theatre list without supervision
- Perform anaesthetic duties
