Position: Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Newbury
Salary: up to £160,000 Pro Rata (dependent on experience) plus paid benefits and enhancements
Hours: Part Time
Contract: Permanent
MediTalent is recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our client within their bespoke private hospital based in Newbury.
Our client provides exceptional mental health services, accepting admissions 24/7, catering to both local NHS patients and referrals from across the UK.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, your expertise will help treat patients with various mental health conditions, including:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Personality Disorders
The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychologists, nurses, and social workers to craft and execute tailored treatment plans. The hospital operates a non-residential medical on-call rota, and this role includes participation in the second on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert psychiatric care and support to patients.
- Diagnose and manage complex mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Medical Doctor (MD).
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Extensive experience in psychiatry, with knowledge of mental health complexities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
