Position: Endoscopy Lead

Pay: up to £50,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements

MediTalent are seeking an Endoscopy Lead to work for our client - a leading healthcare provider in their State-of-the-Art Private Hospital based in Guildford. The successful candidate will be working to ensure optimal patient care is always carried out. The role will require you to assess then implement patient plans, train more junior members of the team and provide support to a variety of individuals when needed.
Your team will include junior members of staff that may require personal mentoring to ensure the best care is always provided. You will act as a point of call and must be confident in your communication skills from patients and their family to different levels of staff. The company offer opportunities for training and continuous progression - often leading to promotions.
The right candidate:
- Valid NMC or HCPC pin
- Previous experience as a Senior Registered Practitioner or equivalent in an endoscopy service
- Experience and training in pain management, care of the deteriorating patient, care of patient under conscious sedation requiring monitored recovery
- Experience of clinical governance and audit
- Evidence of working in partnership with consultants to explore and challenge existing practices while maintaining and enhancing services and standards
