.Haematology Nurse
Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £45K dependent on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Contract - Permanent 37.5hrs per week
MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in Central London for a haematology nurse to work within the Oncology-Haematology Outpatients Unit.
You will join a friendly and well-established team. your role will be to prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping. ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures. To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all Patients acting as the named nurse, using a holistic, pro-active and dynamic approach to all patients with oncological/haematological care needs and act as an advocate to more junior members of the team. Where appropriate to deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse and the lead on clinical shifts.
Skills required:
NMC Pin required.
Worked in an acute setting and have some Oncology and/or Haematology nursing experience.
Completed oncology or haematology module/modules, chemotherapy administration and/or cancer foundation course.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a calm and pleasant disposition and good problem solving and organisational skills.
