Job Title: Head of Neurorehabilitation - Occupational Therapy
Location: City of London.
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm - No on-call!

The Role:
As a Lead Occupational Therapist at the prestigious neuro rehabilitation hospital in West London, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our neurological team. Reporting to the Rehabilitation Services Manager, your mission will be to provide clinical and managerial leadership to a team of Occupational Therapists, with a primary focus on delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and guide a dedicated team of Occupational Therapists.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to provide top-tier patient care.
- Conduct advanced neurological assessments, clinical diagnoses, and patient management.
- Ensure services are evidence-based and informed by expert knowledge.
- Drive continuous professional development (CPD) and clinical governance.
- Foster a culture of empathy and clear communication among patients and colleagues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Extensive postgraduate experience in UK neurorehabilitation (NHS or Private sector).
- Prior leadership or management experience.
- Proficiency in audits, quality standards, and risk management.
- Participation in research, audits, and service evaluations.
- Ability to empower patients and colleagues in decision-making.
Additional Information:
- Expertise in assessing and treating physical, cognitive, and functional deficits.
- Complex postural management and seating.
- ADL retraining and complex discharge planning.
- Deliver expert training to fellow occupational therapists.
- Identify and address clinical safety concerns.
