We are delighted to be supporting in the recruitment of an Oncology Pharmacist to lead the small specialist oncology pharmacy team here in Leicester.
The role is suited to an experienced oncology pharmacist with prior hospital background at a senior level. The role of a Lead Pharmacist will involve leading the oncology pharmacy department whilst motivating, training, and managing the team. You'll need to be able to confidently and effectively, advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and it's departments, whilst staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards
Additional needs / Information
- Degree in Pharmacy M Pharm or B Pharm or BSc (Pharmacy)
- Must have a valid GPC pin as part of the General Pharmaceutical Council register
- Capable of leading a small oncology pharmacy team
- Must have a band 7 level experience and able to support more junior members of the team and give clinical direction
- Supporting qualification in leadership or management would be desirable but not necessary
- Chemotherapy dispensary
