Role: Lead Theatre Practitioner -Recovery
 Location: Nottingham
 Salary: Up to £43k plus benefits
 Hours: 37.5 per week (various shifts)
MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in Nottingham for a Lead Theatre Practitioner to join their team of staff in the theatre department.
You will be working as a lead practitioner within anaesthetics. You will join a friendly and well-established team. Your role will be to coordinate and deliver high quality patient care ensuring a safe and effective pre operative service, you will be working with patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures, you will lead and manage a team, coordinating staff training needs and resource requirements within a peri-operative function or surgical specialty. You will assemble, check and prepare the appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.
This is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
The ideal candidate will be an NMC registered adult nurse RGN or HCPC Registered operating department practitioner/ODP. Substantial leadership experience within a clinical environment and hold the first surgical assistance certificate along with having good clinical knowledge and understanding, ILS, additional skills in Theatres and recovery.
