Oncology-Haematology Sister/Charge Nurse

MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, modern, private hospital in Central London for a sister/charge nurse to work within their Haematology outpatient's department. The Oncology-Haematology Outpatients Unit comprises of 22 individual areas for outpatient treatment. The patients attend for day case chemotherapy and related treatments and/or consultant appointments. They currently have 5 apheresis machines, where donors/patients attend for peripheral blood stem cell donation.
You will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of care and service to the patients and to work within a team to provide assessment and evaluation of care. You will act as role model providing leadership to the wider nursing team as well as undertake the role mentor for student nurses and junior staff within the unit. You will complete staff appraisals and be involved in team training and development. You will also organise workloads in-line with clinical priorities with the ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
