Pay: up to £50,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours - Full time/part time hours available
MediTalent are seeking a Senior Scrub Nurse or Scrub Lead to work for our client - a leading healthcare provider in their State-of-the-Art Private Hospital based in North London. You will join the dedicated surgical team and take a leadership role in maintaining excellence in perioperative services. As the Scrub Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing surgical scrub activities, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
Your role may involve: Coordinating and leading the scrub team during surgical procedures, ensuring proper instrument and supply preparation. Collaborating with surgical staff, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. You will oversee the maintenance of sterile techniques and adherence to infection control protocols. You will assist in surgical setup, including arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for procedures. You may mentor and train scrub team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Skills required:
- Valid NMC/HCPC pin
- Previous theatre experience (at least 1 year)
- Previous experience with scrub
- Must be a strong communicator
