Position of Specialist Hand Therapist
Location North-West London area - Private Hospital
Salary Potential Up to £48,000 per annum
MediTalent are delighted to be recruiting for a Hand Therapist for this reputable private hospital within London. The role will include delivering expert advice and diagnostics whilst being highly competent in assessing a wide range of orthopaedic hand and plastic surgery conditions based on advanced theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
The role would suit a Hand Therapist with prior experience and expertise in the relevant field. You'll be confident in your ability to support patients in their rehabilitation.
The right person
- BSc (hons) degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy or diploma or equivalent
- Evidence of post graduate professional development within hand therapy specialism i.e. BAHT or similar
- Experience of working with complex plastic and orthopaedic hand surgery
- Awareness of cognitive behavioural approach to rehabilitation
- Highly skilled in hand therapy splinting and post-operative wound care
