Surgical First Assistant
Location: Droitwich Spa
Pay: up to £42,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Contract - Permanent
MediTalent are recruiting for a Surgical First Assistant on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in Droitwich Spa.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide surgical first assistance for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism with a focus on major Orthopaedics and General Surgery
- Provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.
- Most importantly, our theatre staff are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision.
Who we're looking for.
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
- Mentorship Qualification
- ILS
- Experience of customer care and taking a challenge
- Experience with an acute healthcare environment
- Assist with Orthopaedics, Laparoscopic, Gynae, Cosmetic and General surgery
